This is the first Mepis version based on Ubuntu which is based on Deb. I am a Deb Sid user and have tried Ubuntu and Kubuntu as well. I really like this distro and since it is an alpha, it will only get better. This is much better than Mepis 3.4. This is a live/install CD.

For kicks, I took a D-Link DWL-G520 and put it into a system with a NVidia chipset and AMD Sempron 3100 proc. Ubuntu and Deb did not recognise the card, Mepis 6.0A1 did. The download link and a short article is on www.mepis.org
